Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith

1. The Divine Nature of God: We believe in one, eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth. This God is sovereign, all-knowing, and all-powerful, and is the source of all life and salvation.

3. The Hebrew Scriptures: We uphold the Hebrew Scripture of Torah as divinely inspired, authoritative, and relevant to all believers. These Scriptures reveal God’s covenant with Israel, His laws, and His promises, which are fulfilled in the Messiah Yeshua.

3. The Messiah Yeshua: We affirm that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the promised Messiah of Israel, the Son of God, and the Savior of humanity. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection. Through His death and resurrection, He has provided redemption and eternal life to all who trust in Him.

3. The New Covenant: We believe that the New Covenant, as foretold by the prophets, is established through the life and work of Yeshua. It brings a new relationship with God, marked by the forgiveness of sins and the writing of His laws on our hearts.

5. The Role of the Jewish People: We recognize the Jewish people as God’s chosen nation and honor their unique role in God’s redemptive plan. We are committed to supporting and celebrating the Jewish heritage and traditions, which find their fulfillment in Yeshua the Messiah.

6. The Great Commission: We are dedicated to sharing the message of Yeshua as the Messiah with all people, Jew and Gentile alike. We are called to proclaim the Good News of salvation, make disciples, and live out our faith through acts of love, justice, and service.

7. The Community of Believers: We believe in the importance of communal worship, fellowship, and support among believers. The congregation is a family of faith, united by our common belief in growing together in holiness and love.

8. The Return of the Messiah: We affirm our hope in the imminent return of Yeshua, who will come again to establish His Kingdom on earth, fulfill all promises made to Israel, and bring about the ultimate redemption and restoration of creation.

9. The Use of Sacred Plant Sacraments: We recognize the use of sacred plant sacraments, such as peyote or other plants, fungi and natural substances traditionally used in spiritual practices, as a means of deepening our spiritual connection and understanding. These sacraments are used with reverence and in accordance with our faith, seeking to enhance our communion with God and to facilitate spiritual experiences that align with biblical teachings.

10. The Importance of Prayer and Obedience: We emphasize the importance of prayer, study of the Scriptures, and obedience to God’s commandments as integral aspects of our spiritual journey. We seek to live in accordance with His will and to reflect His character in all that we do.

11. The Call to Holiness: We are called to live holy lives, set apart for God’s purposes. This involves a commitment to ethical living, personal integrity, and the pursuit of righteousness, reflecting the character of God in our daily lives.
