Dallas, Texas--(Newsfile Corp. - January 23, 2024) - Unveiling a transformative movement, Heal.Earth, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded by Spiritual Director Matthew Weintrub, is on a mission to bring God's Kingdom to life through impactful actions and humanitarian initiatives. Its focus extends to addressing global challenges through communal solutions, emphasizing mental well-being, eradicating homelessness, protecting mother nature, fostering social ecology and promoting global peace.
At the core of Heal Earth's ethos is the belief that when communities mobilize and become active participants in addressing urgent issues, humanity and the planet can thrive. To this end, Heal Earth encourages its members to go into their neighborhoods and cities and become changemakers. In doing so, the goal is to heal the world and restore its health once more.
"Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Therefore, let us not wait passively for heaven to descend. Instead, let us take up the tools of compassion and understanding and with calloused hands build the Kingdom right here, on this Earth, brick by righteous brick," says Matthew. "Heal Earth Church is a call to action, an invitation to co-create this paradise on Earth. Join the movement, roll up your sleeves, and come help build God's Kingdom, one act of love and kindness at a time."
To achieve its vision of a planet that is restored, Heal Earth incorporates several key pillars:
Radical collaboration: The church believes in uniting diverse voices and expertise to co-create solutions. Collaborations with indigenous leaders and nations, mental health professionals, environmental activists, peacebuilders, and community and faith leaders will fuel practical initiatives that address the root causes of the world's challenges.
Holistic healing: Recognizing the interconnectedness of individual and planetary well-being, the Church prioritizes both personal and ecological healing.
Guardianship: The Church believes that all of life is sacred and we are dedicated to sustainable methodologies to heal and preserve the air, the water, the planet, the animals and the human beings for 7 generations into the future.
Creative activism: Beyond traditional protest and petitioning, Heal Earth Church champions artistic expression and innovative solutions. Through fashion, music, theater, community gardens, and social entrepreneurship, the church aims to inspire and empower, transforming activism into joyful and impactful work.
Heal Earth Church invites all who share a vision of a healed and thriving world to join the movement, whether they are seasoned activists, spiritual growth seekers, or individuals yearning for a better tomorrow.
“Tikkun olam (תיקון עולם) is a phrase that means to repair the world. Heal Earth’s mission is to build a world where we realize the prayer that all beings are happy, healthy, and free,” says Matthew. “Let us pray: Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, On Earth as it is in Heaven.”
