Enhanced Domestic Terrorism Measures
In light of recent developments and growing concerns about domestic support for terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hezbollah, Heal Earth proposes the following measures to enhance national security and protect public safety:
Placement of Pro-Hamas and Pro-Hezbollah Protestors on Domestic Terrorism Watchlists:
Protestors actively supporting Hamas and Hezbollah, organizations designated as terrorist groups, should be placed on domestic terrorism watchlists. Their endorsement of these groups' violent actions poses a threat to national security and public order.
Law enforcement agencies must monitor these individuals for potential radicalization, connections to terrorist activities, or the provision of material support to terrorist organizations.
Creation of a Domestic Terrorism Task Force on Radical Shia Islam:
Establish a specialized task force focused on the threat posed by radical Shia Islam, including organizations and movements like Hezbollah and other extremist groups. The task force should be empowered to investigate, track, and neutralize domestic threats associated with these groups.
This task force should also cooperate with international partners to track funding, recruitment, and training activities originating from abroad that pose risks to the homeland.
Designation of the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization:
Officially designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization due to its long history of promoting extremist ideologies and fostering terrorism through affiliated groups. The organization’s global network poses a significant security risk, and its influence within radical Islamic movements should be treated as a direct threat.
Prosecution and Imprisonment of Hamas and Hezbollah Supporters:
Any protestor who provided material support to Hamas or Hezbollah—whether through fundraising, logistical aid, or other forms of support—should be prosecuted under existing anti-terrorism laws and imprisoned. Material support for terrorist organizations is illegal under U.S. law, and individuals engaged in such activities should face appropriate legal consequences.
Prosecution of Hate Speech Related to Hamas and Hezbollah Rhetoric:
Protestors who use slogans such as “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” should be prosecuted for hate speech. This phrase is widely understood to call for the destruction of Israel and incites violence and hatred against Jews. The use of this rhetoric, particularly in the context of supporting terrorist organizations, cannot be tolerated in a society that values the rule of law and condemns violence.
These measures are essential to ensuring that those who support terrorist organizations are held accountable and that the nation remains vigilant in protecting its citizens from radical Islamist threats.
