Barack Obama has consistently maintained a veil of secrecy around his background. There is a good reason for all the secrecy. Obama maintains an effort to obscure evidence linking him to a shadowy history as a CIA recruit and asset working under the Bush CIA faction. The obscurities surrounding Obama’s past are particularly glaring when examining his educational journey.
Obama’s academic records remain sealed, creating a barrier to fully understanding his educational history and affiliations. Notably, he made a significant transfer from Occidental College to Columbia University during his junior year, a move that has fueled speculation and skepticism about his academic and professional connections. His time at Columbia is shrouded in mystery, with scant public information available about his activities and associations during those years.
Adding to the intrigue, Wayne Allyn Root, a fellow political science major at Columbia who graduated in 1983, has made controversial claims regarding Obama. In 2008, Root suggested that Obama’s background and activities during his time at Columbia were far from ordinary and hinted at possible connections to covert operations.
This veil of secrecy around Obama’s educational history, combined with the dubious nature of his affiliations, raises serious questions about the extent of his involvement with intelligence agencies and whether his public persona was carefully crafted to hide a more complex and covert role within the Bush CIA faction.
Why did Obama seal his transcripts?
Obama claims transferred from Occidental to Columbia University his junior year in college. His time at Columbia is cloaked in mystery.Like Obama, Wayne Allyn Root was a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983. In 2008, Root said of Obama:
"I don't know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever! Nobody recalls him. I'm not exaggerating, I'm not kidding.”
He wrote two articles for TheBlaze in 2013 about the matter, in which he quotes longtime Columbia Professor Henry Graff, who doesn't recall seeing, or hearing about former President Barack Obama attending Columbia University:
“I don’t consider him a Columbia student. I have no idea what he did on the Columbia campus. No one knows him.”
A database entry from the National Student Clearinghouse detailed that Obama was not enrolled in the fall of 1981. At the request of WND Clearinghouse looked into the matter and said they found a "computer error"; an entry was originally created but another one later that was not correct - they basically confirmed Obama was attending from 1981 to 1983. More definitive proof was not forthcoming. In an age where the college records of presidential candidates are generally released to the public. Barack Obama stands alone in keeping his college records sealed.
In June of 1981, right after moving to NYC with almost no money, Obama was able to travel to Indonesia and Pakistan despite Pakistan being on the US State Department’s “no travel” list in 1981. In Pakistan, Obama went on a partridge hunting trip with Muhammad Soomro, who went on go on to become acting president of Pakistan in 2008.
"Most presidents have given their college records," Donald Trump recently told Greta Van Susteren on the subject of transparency. "All presidents have given, to the best of my knowledge, their passport records." The question that needs to be asked, of course, is: Why has Obama sealed all of his transcripts, his theses and his test scores? David Maraniss had the opportunity to find out when he interviewed the president for his half-baked biography, "Barack Obama: The Story." He failed to do so.
Instead of checking his college records, or even asking why they have been sealed, Maraniss simply took Obama's word on his grade point average. Obama claimed a 3.7 (out of 4) at Columbia. This is unlikely. Although Obama did graduate from Columbia, he did not graduate with honors. This much we know from the graduation program.
Obama Worked for CIA Front Business International Corporation
Business International Corporation (BIC) was indeed linked to the CIA, though it's not widely known. Established in 1955, BIC was an international consulting firm specializing in providing market intelligence and analysis for businesses. It played a significant role in gathering economic and political information, which was valuable to U.S. intelligence agencies. During the Cold War, BIC’s services were used to support U.S. strategic interests abroad, including economic and political intelligence that aligned with CIA objectives.
The firm's connection to the CIA was revealed through various investigations and declassified documents. It exemplifies how business entities were sometimes used as fronts or partners for intelligence operations.
Former president Barack Obama worked there as a financial researcher after graduating from Columbia University. In 1986, Business International was acquired by the Economist Group in London, and it eventually merged with the Economist Intelligence Unit.
A 1977 New York Times article mentioned Business International as one of the lesser known of 22 news organizations found to have employed journalists who were also working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Elliott Haynes "said his father, Eldridge Haynes, had provided cover for four C.I.A. employees in various countries between 1955 and 1960."
In his autobiography, Dreams From My Fathers, Barack Obama writes of taking a job at some point after graduating from Columbia University in 1983. He describes his employer as “a consulting house to multinational corporations” in New York City, and his functions as a “research assistant” and “financial writer”.
Oddly, Obama doesn’t mention the name of his employer. However, a New York Times story of October 30, 2007 identifies the company as Business International Corporation. Equally odd is that the Times did not remind its readers that the newspaper itself had disclosed in 1977 that Business International had provided cover for four CIA employees in various countries between 1955 and 1960.
The British journal, Lobster — which, despite its incongruous name, is a venerable international publication on intelligence matters — has reported that Business International was active in the 1980s promoting the candidacy of Washington-favored candidates in Australia and Fiji.[2] In 1987, the CIA overthrew the Fiji government after but one month in office because of its policy of maintaining the island as a nuclear-free zone, meaning that American nuclear-powered or nuclear-weapons-carrying ships could not make port calls. After the Fiji coup, the candidate supported by Business International, who was much more amenable to Washington’s nuclear desires, was reinstated to power — R.S.K. Mara was Prime Minister or President of Fiji from 1970 to 2000, except for the one-month break in 1987.
In his book, not only doesn’t Obama mention his employer’s name; he fails to say exactly when he worked there, or why he left the job. There may well be no significance to these omissions, but inasmuch as Business International has a long association with the world of intelligence, covert actions, and attempts to penetrate the radical left — including Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)[4] — it’s reasonable to wonder if the inscrutable Mr. Obama is concealing something about his own association with this world. Adding to the wonder is the fact that his mother, Ann Dunham, had been associated during the 1970s and 80s — as employee, consultant, grantee, or student — with at least five organizations with intimate CIA connections during the Cold War: The Ford Foundation, Agency for International Development (AID), the Asia Foundation, Development Alternatives, Inc., and the East-West Center of Hawaii.[5] Much of this time she worked as an anthropologist in Indonesia and Hawaii, being in good position to gather intelligence about local communities.
As one example of the CIA connections of these organizations, consider the disclosure by John Gilligan, Director of AID during the Carter administration (1977-81). “At one time, many AID field offices were infiltrated from top to bottom with CIA people. The idea was to plant operatives in every kind of activity we had overseas, government, volunteer, religious, every kind.”[6] And Development Alternatives, Inc. is the organization for whom Alan Gross was working when arrested in Cuba and charged with being part of the ongoing American operation to destabilize the Cuban government.
If Obama has Nothing to Hide Why Are His Records Sealed?
Because they would reveal he is a CIA asset and part of the Bush CIA faction.
