Many are Invited, Few are Chosen
Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.
But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.
The Kingdom of heaven is like a King who prepared a wedding banquet for his Son.
There is a way that seems right to a mean but its end is the way of death.
For many are invited, but few are chosen.
Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. For the spirit of Elijah lives in John.
For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession.
Israel, you are the chosen people of the LORD your God. There are many nations on this earth, but he chose only Israel to be his very own.
How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
For those that hath the ears and the eyes and the hearts will be those chosen workers of the Lord's Kingdom who will hasten the days of the redeemer.
The kings of the earth stand in a line ready to fight, and all the leaders are against the Lord and against His Chosen One.
He Who sits in the heavens laughs. The Lord makes fun of them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger and make them afraid, saying, “But as for Me, I have set My King on Zion, My holy mountain.”
And they will be broken in pieces like pots of clay.
Serve the Lord with fear, and be full of joy as you shake in fear.
Kiss The Lord's Son.
Be afraid that He may be angry and destroy you in the way.
For His anger is quick.
Happy are all who put their trust in Him.
Thy Kingdom Come.
