Roadmap
Roadmap for the Christ Trust’s Resource Stewardship
The Christ Trust will be structured into key asset divisions: Real Estate, Hedge Fund, and Venture Capital, each designed to generate sustainable growth while serving the kingdom’s purpose. The roadmap below outlines the strategy for aligning these divisions with the broader mission of building the kingdom and supporting charitable works.
1. Real Estate Division: Maximizing Sustainable Yield
Formation of a REIT
Objective: If not already structured, the real estate assets will be placed into a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) for efficient management, tax advantages, and scalable investment opportunities.
Purpose: The REIT will consolidate residential, commercial, and undeveloped properties to maximize yield while aligning with the kingdom’s values of stewardship.
Commercial Real Estate Strategy
Focus on Sustainable Yield:
Invest in commercial properties that generate consistent and sustainable cash flows, such as retail centers, office buildings, and industrial parks.
Prioritize environmentally responsible and community-enhancing developments (affordable housing initiatives).
Yield Distribution:
A significant portion of the yield will be directed toward charitable initiatives, supporting humanitarian efforts, education, and missionary work across the kingdom.
Land Development for Kingdom Purposes
Reserve specific lands for future community centers and master planned developments to support spiritual growth and community outreach.
2. Hedge Fund Division: Preserving and Growing Capital
Risk-Managed Growth
The hedge fund will focus on preserving the trust’s wealth while achieving moderate growth to sustain long-term stability.
Investments will be guided by kingdom principles, avoiding industries or practices that conflict with Christ’s teachings.
Purposeful Allocations
Diversify into equities, bonds, and alternative assets aligned with the church’s mission and ethical guidelines.
Hedge fund profits will supplement real estate yields in funding charitable and kingdom-related initiatives.
3. Venture Capital Division: Investing in Kingdom-Related Ventures
Creation of a New Venture Fund
Objective: Establish a venture capital fund dedicated to funding startups and businesses that align with kingdom values.
Criteria for Investment:
Focus on ventures that promote innovation, humanitarian goals, environmental stewardship, and the spread of gospel principles.
Industries of interest may include education technology, renewable energy, health and wellness, and community development.
Church as an Early Investor
The church will actively invest in early-stage businesses, helping entrepreneurs build ventures that serve both the church and the wider world.
Investment returns will be reinvested into the fund, creating a self-sustaining cycle of growth and service.
4. Charitable Initiatives Funded by the Trust
Profits generated by the divisions will be funneled into:
Humanitarian Aid: Providing food, shelter, healthcare, and education to those in need.
Missionary Work: Supporting the global spread of the gospel and the gathering of Israel.
Environmental Restoration: Funding initiatives to heal and preserve the earth, aligning with the divine mandate to care for creation.
